Dear Esteban,

As a result of our increased client project volume, and in order to exceed our customers' expectations, we have added 3 new members to our staff. CES is very excited to announce and introduce these 3 new team members.

Aaron Havens
Survey Party Chief

Heading up one of our survey crews is Aaron Havens. Aaron comes to us via Denver, Colorado, where he has worked for 8-years as a Survey Party Chief. Aaron specializes in topographical surveys, ALTA surveys and construction staking.

Joey Martinez
Field Technician

New to the field of survey, but not new to client service is Joey Martinez. Joey works on one of our field survey crews and brings a “can-do” attitude to everything he does. We expect great things from this young man.

Rosa Allaway
Executive Assistant/Marketing Coordinator

Rosa rounds out our new additions by bringing more than 10-years experience in administrative support to bear on our administrative and marketing department. She is an excellent communicator; she is friendly, helpful and loves a challenge.

With these new additions, CES will ensure its commitment to excellent customer service, is exceeded and that our motto "We are obsessed with customer service!” is not just a slogan but a reality for our clients.
CES was awarded a 6-month contract for NPDES compliance monitoring in cooperation with Montgomery Watson-Harza Laboratories (MWH) in Monrovia, California. CES will conduct an Initial Environmental Audit (IEAU) of process water at the Niagara Water Bottling Plant in Ontario, California. Over the next six months CES will conduct 24-hour composite sampling utilizing CES self sampling ISCO 3700 sampler, providing feedback, recommendations and sampling reports.
CES was retained through long time client Empire Companies to provide survey services for Allen Matkins on behalf of Union Development Corporation. CES conducted an ALTA re-certification for the Empire Self Storage Portfolio. The portfolio included 8- self storage units through out the Inland Empire. CES completed the ALTA's in 7-days meeting the clients strict deadlines.
The AAI final rule establishes specific regulatory requirements for conducting all appropriate inquiries into the previous ownership, uses, and environmental conditions of a property for the purposes of qualifying for certain landowner liability protections under CERCLA. The final rule will be effective on November 1, 2006. Please follow this link to read more about it: www.epa.gov/swerosps/bf/regneg.htm#final_rule.

After November 1, 2006, parties must comply with the requirements of All Appropriate Inquiries Final Rule, or follow the standards set forth in the ASTM E1527-05 Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process, to satisfy the statutory requirements for conducting all appropriate inquiries. All appropriate inquiries must be conducted in compliance with either of these standards to obtain protection from potential liability under CERCLA as an innocent landowner, a contiguous property owner, or a bona fide prospective purchaser.

Thank you for allowing us to spend a few moments with you. If you ever have any questions regarding the information contained in this e-newsletter,please call me direct at 951-808-8585.
