Here at Novacom, we know that children are our future
and helping develop our kids interest in learning is
more than just a pastime, it’s our responsibility. Last
month La Purisima Catholic School in Orange California
held their annual Educational Fair where the school’s
focus goes beyond math and science. The school strives
to teach their students how to be proactive and hard
working. They also work with the students on how be
environmentally responsible and how to build self
esteem. Parents at the event were delighted to see the
school actively involved in teaching their kids more
than just the state required curriculum.
Novacom is proud to have taken a part in the fair by
sponsoring the school’s first visit of an “Artificial
Intelligence Robot” named “Cody”. Cody is a highly
sophisticated, highly independent Robot. Cody stands at
5’-6” tall and weighs 160 lbs. Cody operates without any
human assistance.

|
As you can imagine Cody and the children became great
friends immediately. Cody assisted the teaching staff in
educating the kids on the importance of learning,
community involvement, the environment, and self
awareness. Novacom hopes that Cody will be able to come
again to the fair next year, and the children do too! |

NOVACOM is fully committed and is always looking for
ways to improve and expand our services to you, our
valued client. Consistent with this effort, NOVACOM
attended this years most important Global Technology
Event: The International CTIA Wireless Tradeshow and
Tower Summit, which was held April 1-3, 2009 at the Las
Vegas Convention Center.
It definitely felt like Spring that week at the CTIA
Wireless Tradeshow and Tower Summit in Las Vegas. The
industry is buzzing with new and exciting things on the
horizon. Despite the rough |
|
economy, the Wireless Industry continues to expand. The
Wireless carriers, with their innovation and continued
consumer demand for services, ensures the industry's
bright future.
NOVACOM
is excited to be in a supporting role in the development
of the carriers' networks to meet those services.
Our special thanks goes out to all of those who visited
our booth and to those who took the time out of their
busy schedules to sit down and meet with our business
development team! |

This year’s fishing trip to Cabo San Lucas was an
excellent opportunity to rest, relax and network
with friends. Accommodations provided in Pedregal
and 45-foot Rivera Sport fishing boat charted by
Novacom helped make this fishing trip a success.
Drinks and Fine dinning at local restaurants rounded
out the long weekend. Esteban was the lucky
fisherman in catching this 109-inch 160-pound
Stripped Marlin (the largest brought to shore that
day), now hanging on the wall at the Novacom
offices, in Corona California for all to enjoy. The
group caught a total of six Marlin with the largest
weighing in at over 200 pounds. Look for your
invitation to this year’s event around November
2009.

The 1st Annual Novacom Fall Fiesta kicked off without a
hitch! Family, friends, and colleagues all came together
in 70's costumes to celebrate the changing of the
seasons with the Novacom team and a good time was had by
all. The weather was cool, but the party was hot! Dinner
and drinks were followed by 4-hours of boogieing, with
cash prizes for the grooviest costumes. Everyone had a
great time and next years festivities are eagerly
anticipated by all of the party goers! |

"Take me out to the ball game," was just another CES and
Novacom event to indulge and strengthen the
relationships with all our Special Clients. All work and
no play is boring stuff!
Homerun! Was the sentiment of all who attended the
Angels vs. Yankees baseball game this past September.
Guests were entertained with food and drinks while
watching the game from the spectacular platform behind
centerfield. While the home team turned another win for
the Big A, all attendees left with a smile! |
